If you’ve been following us for a while, you know how seriously we take this. We believe data accuracy is so critical, we built a dedicated in-house team whose only mission is to make MaxDividends the most accurate and reliable dividend data source in the world — giving you confidence when it’s time to make investment decisions.

Here’s what I mean:

Imagine you open your brokerage app, look at a stock, and it says the company pays a 6% yield and has strong growth. Sounds great, right? But what if that info isn’t actually accurate? Maybe the broker’s data is outdated or just flat-out wrong.

Or let’s say a company just cut its dividend, or raised it, or even suspended it entirely — but the platforms you rely on haven’t updated it yet. That’s the kind of mess we work hard to protect you from.

To fight back against that kind of noise, we built a specialized Data Review Team. Their job is simple: manually check incoming dividend and financial data from our providers and make corrections if needed.

We’ve actually been filtering and improving data behind the scenes for over three years now — a lot of that process is already automated and runs great. But this team takes it to the next level.

We kicked off the initiative at the end of May. In June, they manually reviewed 38 companies. In July? 490 companies! And the pace is picking up. The goal is to expand this effort every month to bring you the highest-quality dividend data anywhere.
